1. Information We Collect
1.1. Visiting smsbump.com
We use Google Analytics and cookies to analyze our site's performance. These services help us track approximate location, browser information, device information and language used. Those metrics are solely used to provide an overview of how people interact with smsbump.com. We do not profile customers based on any of the above listed information.
1.2. Creating an Account
When you create an account on smsbump.com, we ask you for your phone number and email address. We collect, store and process the information you have provided us for contacting you.
1.3. Sending Text Messages
Sending text messages or using automations requires you to feed phone numbers or recipient names into our importer. We will store and use this data to show you campaign analytics and results including message delivery status, sent status, and in some cases whether the purchase resulted in a sale. If you decide to use our link shortener in text messages, we will collect information on whether the link was clicked or not and use it to display results in your analytics. Any other third party service that you may decide to use outside of the scope of smsbump.com (third party link shortener, GA tracking, etc) you must refer to their specific third party policies which you will need to agree with. Upon sending the text messages, we will pass the data to our text message operator Nexmo to fulfill their delivery.
Nexmo, 217 Second Street 4th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94105. Information is being shared to Nexmo only upon initialising a marketing campaign. If your recipients no longer wish to receive messages they have to reply to the message with STOP or reach out to us at the email address below so we can unsubscribe them successfully.

By creating an account on any of the supported platforms the rules from point 1.2 apply.
1.5. Sending Text Messages Using Shopify, BigCommerce, OpenCart, WordPress, etc
Sending text messages or using automations requires you to feed phone numbers or recipient names into our importer or directly initialising a campaign sent via the Text marketing section in your E-Commerce platform. We make a series of calls to the platform where we fetch recipient phone numbers and names where applicable. When using automations, we get the recipient’s First name, Telephone number and products in cart and use this data to send them a personalized text message, following the best practices guide available inside the Shopify app. We then use this data to display analytics as presented below. Upon sending the text messages, we will pass the data to our text messages operator Nexmo to fulfill their delivery.

We will also show clicks based on country and data that details the number of clicks (when using our native link shortener).
